Shredr was born on the factory floor — not in a venture studio.
Before founding Shredr, I spent years at W. L. Gore & Associates (makers of GORE-TEX), working inside one of the world's most advanced manufacturing operations. I saw first-hand how even a best-in-class manufacturer still relied on paper purchase orders, manual data entry, and disconnected legacy systems across their plants. The technology existed to solve these problems — but nothing was built for manufacturers. Everything on the market was designed for enterprises with seven-figure IT budgets.
I then moved to Microsoft, where I worked on the AI and cloud platforms powering some of the largest digital transformations in the world. The contrast was striking: the Fortune 500 had access to incredible automation tools, while small and mid-size manufacturers — the backbone of the global economy — were still drowning in paper, spreadsheets, and manual processes.
That gap is why Shredr exists. I started this company to bring enterprise-grade AI and automation to the manufacturers who need it most — without the enterprise price tag, the 18-month implementation, or the army of consultants.
